Jamie Feilden

Jamie Feilden is the founder of Jamie’s Farm, a charity transforming the lives of young people through farming, food, and connection to nature. Established in 2009 in the Cotswolds, the initiative has grown into a national organisation, working with schools across the UK to support young people facing challenges in education and wellbeing.

Originally a teacher, Jamie recognised a deepening disconnect between young people and the natural world, alongside rising issues with confidence and behaviour. In response, he created a space where students could step away from the classroom and experience the rhythm and responsibility of farm life.

At the heart of Jamie’s approach is the belief that time spent in nature, combined with meaningful work and shared meals, can spark lasting change. Through Jamie’s Farm, he continues to champion a more compassionate, human-centred approach to education—one rooted in connection, resilience, and belonging.

Jack Carter

Jack’s journey with Jamie’s Farm is a powerful example of the charity’s lasting impact. First arriving as a young person through a foster care group, Jack quickly became part of the wider Jamie’s Farm community—going on to take on roles as an Ambassador and Youth Champion.

Given the opportunity to complete an apprenticeship at Bath Hill House Farm, Jack developed both practical skills and confidence, eventually becoming the first former visiting young person to join the team as a full-time delivery worker. His story reflects not just personal growth, but the strength of a programme built on trust, responsibility, and belonging.

Now, Jack plays an active role in supporting others on their own journeys, bringing energy and empathy to everything he does—whether that’s chopping logs in the woodshed or encouraging a game of basketball.

Passionate about the difference Jamie’s Farm can make, Jack stands as a testament to its ability to change lives.
