A creative collaboration between Tea Smart, Ben Arthur, and Joe Morgan — three filmmakers united by a love of storytelling, the outdoors, and the communities that root us in place. Our work explores the relationship between people and landscape, blending craft, curiosity, and authenticity to tell stories that resonate beyond the screen. From the Cotswolds to the coast, we seek out voices that deserve to be heard and moments that remind us what truly connects us.
Tea Smart
With over a decade of experience and a BA (Hons) in Filmmaking, Tea Smart is a director, producer, and cinematographer whose work blends documentary storytelling with a deep connection to place. She has contributed to a number of award-winning films and television productions and continues to develop independent projects that explore people, landscape, and identity.
Based in the South Cotswolds, Tea’s work often focuses on rural life and environmental themes, capturing stories that reveal the quiet power of community and the changing face of the countryside. Alongside filmmaking, she is an accomplished photographer and has exhibited work celebrating the character and resilience of rural Britain.
Ben Arthur
Happiest when outdoors with a camera in hand and mud under boot, Ben’s filmmaking journey 9 years ago documenting the first source-to-sea swim of the River Severn. Creating a daily film for 26 days amongst the changing landscapes whilst paddling alongside sparked a curiosity for the stories that could be told through the medium. Since then, Ben has gone on to create commercials, campaigns and micro-docs for brands around the world, and has had the chance to feature work in film festivals in the UK and Australia.
He will 100% get distracted by wildlife throughout the project..
Joe Morgan
An accomplished filmmaker, sound recordist, and editor, Joe Morgan brings a rare blend of technical expertise and creative instinct to every project. A skilled self-shooter with a sharp eye for detail, Joe’s work captures the authenticity and texture of real stories — from intimate character moments to expansive landscapes.
Though now based in Cornwall, Joe’s connection to the Cotswolds remains close to heart. His ability to translate atmosphere and emotion through both sound and image makes him an integral part of Leaping Fox Films’ storytelling — and, quite simply, an all-round legend behind the lens.
